Slow walks in the park after a morning rain

A new pallet of makeup that can cause stains

The flowers that routinely bloom when comes spring

These are a few of my favorite things

 

Semi-sweet chocolate and no-homework weekends

Soft furry puppies that make my heart weaken

A soothing melody from threaded harp strings

These are a few of my favorite things

 

EXO concerts with costly front row tickets

Antique shops that have various small trinkets

and a wide variety of ornate rings

These are a few of my favorite things

 

When the story ends, when the milk spills

When I’m feeling sad

I simply remember my favorite things

Like the dulcet tune that a vireo sings

And then I don't feel so bad
