Writing is not my strong suit. Writing was something I struggled with ever since I was a child. However, my writing did improve in Mr. Weinstein's class. I remember the first essay we did in class – I got a 70. Looking over my essay, I realized my writing could be a little unclear. I spent many days revising that essay - I even had a couple of friends, or Caroline, look over it for me. I learned many new things from them as well. I believe this and all the writing lessons that were taught throughout the year, have improved my writing skills. Creative writing is more difficult for me than research paper writing; coming up with good ideas to write about was the real struggle. I hope my writing skills will improve so that it will be on par with my art skills! Until then, I will keep on trying. The pieces below are a composite of memoirs, literary letters, song analyses, and research rants (educational topics that I found very interesting).
