ARTWORK

Art Portfolio

The gallery below is organized by date (the more recent pieces are closer to the top). I decided to take AP studio art during my senior year of high school. The goal of this class is to create your own concentration (artwork that all has a similar focus/study) and display it through your own thoughts and medium. My concentration is about how glass and marbles interact; I find the interesting shapes – formed by reflections and refractions – and colors unique to paint. It is a challenge to paint glass, but if you view it as just shapes of color, it will be much easier. The other pieces in this portfolio are pieces I have done either outside or inside of class. These pieces range in different types of medium: from graphite pencil to oil paint. Some of these pieces were sketchbook assignments from my art class. Throughout my high school art career, most of my artwork became applied to something else.
