The True Purpose
life is too short
to be dwelling on the past,
because there are
more dogs to pet, foods to taste,
and people to meet
everything around us
has an expiration date
a point in time
where we will explode.
unknowingly and unexpectedly
we will disappear like thin air,
where we will blend in with everyone else.
no diversity. no risk.
just the water in the puddle
if we keep in our anger,
give in to our fears,
and lock in our sadness
what is there really left?
as Bob Marley once said
“live the life you love,
love the life you live”
because the world is short, and there is much to live for
